Back with a quick one for you all — this is a quick look at the new TVR 533 frame. All the usual stuff is the same: quality is great, gorgeous attention to detail, and a special hand engraved temple arm. These frames are also pretty hefty (and, in truth, on the heavier side) and thick, and come in a variety of great colors, and two sizes as well. You can also get them with sunglass lenses, or without.
What makes this model especially special (yes, we’ll say that is a valid expression), is, of course, the shape. It’s a wonderful cross between a classic Panto shape, and something with a bid more edge to it. It’s playful and unique without standing out too much. If you want to wear something a bit different, but don’t want to be too bold, this frame is really unlike anything else I have ever seen. Another wonderfully executed frame by TVR, if I do say so myself.
One last detail I love: even in the darker color brown, the temple arms are see-through just enough that you can see the wonderful engraving on the metal temples.
