As the weather slowly starts to turn just a little cooler, it’s outfits like this one that Chris Pine put together that will quickly become your go-to. It’s casual, but still refined in its own way. Rugged, comfortable, and functional. It has the added layer of the jacket for slight heat retention, as well as added visual interest.
So, without further ado, take it away Mr. Pine:
And now, here's how you can put together this ensemble for yourself:
Levi’s Denim Trucker Jacke — $68: Sure, just about every fashionable company on the planet now has their own denim jacket, but you can’t go wrong with Levi’s. Don’t love this exact shade? No problem, they come in a thousand others. Plus they’re available to try on for free through Prime Wardrobe. Now, some guys might not be ready to jump on the denim jacket bandwagon, and I hear that. But with a look like this, it’s a great time to try. Make sure it fits you pretty slim, and that while it cuts short, it’s not too short. Do that, and you’ll be golden.
Bonobobs Premium Stretch Jeans — $178: This is the real deal, and an almost perfect color/shade match. Is Bonobos a bit overprice in general? Sure. Are these jeans? Without question. But they will be super well made, super comfortable, and they’ll last a long time, too. Plus, they ship and return free (and fast!). They come in a wide variety of fits and colors, so there is something here for everyone.
Ray Ban Wayfarer — $150: These things are perpetually on sale, so don’t pay full retail. But they are the true classic. Nothing much else to say here. They make this look.
Uniqlo White Cotton Tee — $9.90: Famous and much-loved, and for damn good reason. Perhaps the single best value in the tee shirt world. Quality, comfortable, and fits well, at a stupidly low price. Just as good, if not better, than anything from J Crew. A wardrobe staple, and the thing that pulls this whole outfit together.
Converse High Tops — $59.99: Solid deal on these classic kicks. Goes great with most jeans, and casual outfits. Some guys are not so into high top shoes, and that’s fine. You can swap these out for the regular ol’ converse All Stars or Chuck Taylor’s just the same.
