Here you will find the measurements for all the pants we have reviewed on the site, plus a whole bunch more that did not make it into a full review. A chart like this can be very helpful when determining what brands will work the best for you. If you're tall but slim, you might find a certain brand works better for you than if you are short and stockier. Maybe you need more room in the thigh, or less, and so on... It's always a good thing to know which brands fit slimmer than others, or the reverse, to help you get the right fit for you. As you'll see, there is actually quite a significant discrepancy not just from brand to brand, but even within the same brand. As always, knowledge is power, and it is our hope that this page makes the buying process at least a little bit easier and faster for you. Enjoy, and happy shopping!
Casual Pants
Note: All sizes in this chart are 30x32. This chart is designed to be used for comparisons, so note the difference in measurements between two brands or fits. Then measure your favorite fitting pair of pants, and assume the same, or a very similar, difference for your size. For instance, the "leg opening" on the J Crew 484 chino is .25" slimmer than the Bonobos Tailored Fit chino. So, assume that the Bonobos chinos will be about .25" wider than whatever the measurements are on your current pants. No, it's not an absolutely perfect system, but this chart will still give you an excellent idea of how one fit compares to another (slimmer, tighter, looser, longer, etc.), which is really the most important thing when finding the pair that will best fit your body.
